- Language Partners
IFLI students will have a language/conversation partner two times per week for one class hour (50 minutes) starting the second week of class and lasting through the seventh week. Language partner sessions must be two independent meetings (i.e. cannot put two sessions on the same day). Language partners will be assigned to students during the first week of classes. Language Partners are CONVERSATION partners – not tutors. They are meant to help students with their everyday speech and prepare the students for interactions they may encounter abroad. If you find yourself in need of assistance, in regards to your language partner sessions, please contact the Pedagogy and/or Program Coordinator.
- Language Tables
IFLI students are required to attend one class hour (50 minutes) of language table per week. The date and time of the language table will be sent to you prior to the start of the summer session. Language tables will begin during the second week of classes and continue through the last week of classes. Language tables are dedicated to roundtable conversation or games with a language table leader and other students within a similar level of language proficiency.
